Merchant business' return and cancellation policy must be made available to customers on website and they have to agree to its terms during the order process. Customers have to click on an "Accept" or "Agree" for return and cancellation button before submitting their payment information. Then, once the order has been submitted, policy can be sent to customers with the order confirmation email.
Cancellation Policy – Sample Template :
(Company Name) believes in helping its customers as far as possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:
- Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within 72 hours of placing an order. However, the cancellation request will not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them.
- There is no cancellation of orders placed under the Same Day Delivery category.
- No cancellations are entertained for those products that the (Company Name) marketing team has obtained on special occasions like Pongal, Diwali, Valentine’s Day etc. These are limited occasion offers and therefore cancellations are not possible.
Refund Policy
Please find below our Refund policy for Tour Packages booked through us. Refund policy is different for different tourist seasons / different tour packages, as outlined below :
May – August (Lean Season) :
Cancellation has to be done at least 03 days before the check-in date – 95 % of the advance amount will be refunded (Applicable for all packages)
September – November (High Season) :
Cancellation has to be done at least 14 days before the check-in date – 95 % of the advance amount will be refunded (Applicable for all packages)
December – January (Peak Season) :
Cancellation has to be done at least ONE MONTH before the Check-in date – 75 % of the Advance amount will be refunded. There will be NO Refunds for cancellation of reservation for 25 December and 31 December. Cancellations during peak season is NOT entertained. (Applicable for all packages except Deluxe Tour Packages, Bangaram Island Tours & Deluxe Family Tours)
Cancellation has to be done at least ONE MONTH before the Check-in date – 50 % of the Package cost will be refunded. There will be NO Refunds for cancellation of reservation for 25 December and 31 December. Cancellations during peak season is NOT entertained. (Applicable for Deluxe Tour (starting code -DP), Bangaram Island Packages (starting code - BIR) and Deluxe Family Packages (starting code -GGP)
February - (High Season) :
Cancellation has to be done at least 14 days before the check-in date – 95 % of the advance amount will be refunded (Applicable for all packages except Deluxe Tour Packages, Bangaram Island Tours & Deluxe Family Tours)
Cancellation has to be done at least ONE MONTH before the Check-in date – 50 % of the Package cost will be refunded. (Applicable for Deluxe Tour (starting code -DP) & Bangaram Island Packages (starting code - BIR)
Cancellation for Deluxe Family packages (starting code -GGP) has to be done at least 14 days before the check-in date – 75 % of the advance amount will be refunded
March - April (High Season) :
Cancellation has to be done at least 14 days before the check-in date – 95 % of the advance amount will be refunded (Applicable for all packages)
